William F. Brazer, MD

Dr. Brazer grew up along the Atlantic Coast in Perkins Cove, Maine. He received his bachelor’s degree from Boston University, and subsequently earned his master’s degree from Harvard University. He graduated from the University of Vermont College of Medicine, and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Danbury Hospital in Danbury, Connecticut, where he held Chief Administrative Resident status through his final year. During his residency, Dr. Brazer was a three-time recipient of the New York Medical College Medical Student Teaching Award. After graduation, Dr. Brazer joined the Candlewood Center for Women’s Health in Danbury, Connecticut. He was a leader in minimally-invasive and robotic-assisted surgery, and in the field of obstetrics as well. His clinical duties involved resident and medical student teaching and mentoring.

Dr. Brazer joined Monadnock OB/GYN Associates in 2015, bringing his focus for women’s health to the Peterborough region. His clinical interests include obstetrics and obstetrical ultrasound, minimally-invasive surgery, and gynecologic endocrinology. He resides in Peterborough with his wife, son and daughter. Dr. Brazer’s hobbies include fishing, the culinary arts, automotive repair, anything involving the Atlantic Ocean, rowing, and all things sci-fi.
