Monadnock Community Hospital's birthing center has been ranked one of
the top ten in America by Child magazine in March 1995.
The patient's
entire stay can occur in one LDRP room (labor, delivery, recovery and
postpartum room). The staff has the expertise and versatility to customize
your delivery plans. Water birthing is also available. Prenatal and sibling
classes are offered, encouraging the entire family to be involved.
Once delivery has occurred, rooming-in with the newborn is encouraged,
as well as the option of the new dad staying overnight. There is a whirlpool
available on the obstetrical floor and the family can relax in the lounge
with toys, games, and a TV-VCR. |
